Weighted blankets for your employees

Frequently Asked Questions

How many blankets are needed to equip a rest area?

It all depends on the size of your space and the number of users. Generally, we recommend one coverage per person. But what matters is the number of simultaneous users, not the total number of users.

Regarding weight management, we recommend 5-6kg blankets, covering the majority of profiles (50-70kg).

Are the blankets actually being used by employees?

Yes. Feedback from the field shows that employees quickly adopt the weighted blanket. The calming effect is immediate: gentle pressure, a feeling of being cocooned. The most receptive:

  • Highly stressed profiles
  • Neuro-atypical employees (ADHD, hypersensitivity)
  • Those who never mentally "switch off"

Is it hygienic? How do you manage the maintenance?

Napoon is 100% Oeko-Tex® cotton. No beads, no plastic. A noble, soft, breathable material. Hygiene is simply managed:

Daily airing after use (the material naturally wicks away moisture)
Rotation of covers: one set in use, one set for maintenance (guaranteed continuity)
Regular washing: machine wash at 30°C once a month, or professional laundry depending on your organization
Good practices: use over clothing, no direct skin contact, no food or drinks on the covers.

We encourage you to notify us as soon as a cover is stained or damaged. We will proceed with an immediate exchange.

Why a weighted blanket and not a simple throw?

Because a throw blanket provides warmth. A weighted blanket soothes. The difference? Deep pressure. If you just want to dress up a sofa, get a throw blanket. If you want your employees to truly recover, choose a Napoon weighted blanket.

  • Stimulates the production of serotonin (the feel-good hormone)
  • Reduces cortisol (stress hormone)
  • Promotes deep recovery even during a nap

Is this compatible with Diversity & Inclusion commitments?

Absolutely. It's even a concrete lever for inclusion. Particularly beneficial for:

  • Neuro-atypical employees (autism, ADHD, hypersensitivity)
  • Anxious or chronically stressed profiles
  • People in the recovery phase (burnout)

Why? Deep pressure acts as a natural sensory regulator. Universal, non-stigmatizing, accessible to all.

It's not a gadget, but a tool that works.
