At Napoon, our mission fits in one sentence: making deep sleep accessible to everyone. We create weighted blankets made of cotton. No glass beads. Just cotton and science to help you sleep better.

Why I created Napoon?

For years, I slept poorly because of an intense pace of life in Paris.

On paper, everything was fine: vegan diet, exercise, discipline. But my body was stagnating, I felt exhausted. Then I came across a video: muscle only rebuilds during deep sleep. And starting at age 30, you lose 1% of muscle mass per year.

I downloaded a sleep tracking app and discovered the concept of sleep debt. My body was never recovering.

That's when I discovered the weighted blanket. From the very first night with it, I knew I was going to create Napoon.

OUR BEGINNINGS

Starting from scratch

In the beginning, it was handmade in the literal sense. Searching for suppliers capable of weaving, prototypes, sizes created...

The first sales and customer reviews... immense pride mixed with sleepless nights (ironic for a sleep company).

Every order was prepared with care. Every customer received a little note. I ran to the post office like crazy.

Today, Napoon is growing. We've shipped to hundreds of customers and our adoption rate is over 98%.

To do this, we had to make a choice: manufacture in China. Why? Stitch-knitting no longer exists in France. Our choices:

The market covers the bed with glass beads that shift and make noise at night. Napoon covers your body with cotton (inside and out), which stays in place.

Our secret? We found the therapeutic efficacy zone: 3.1 to 4.6 kg/m². What matters is the weight exerted per cm² on your body, not just the total weight.

Lastly, our open-stitch weave creates optimal air circulation. Unlike synthetic blankets that trap heat, Napoon stays breathable even in summer.
