Adults Diagnosed with ADHD and ASD

Your brain doesn't shut down at night. It's looking for a signal...

Nighttime anxiety, micro-awakenings, difficulty staying still. This is the daily reality for many individuals with ADHD and ASD, who seek a physical signal. That of the weighted blanket.

"He's sleeping like a baby."

"An effective stress-reliever"

"Effective against anxiety"

"It has a calming effect"

Your brain doesn't stop when you close your eyes.

For ADHD and ASD profiles, this is a documented reality. The nervous system remains in a state of alert, failing to receive a sensory signal that says: you can relax.

This signal is not given by melatonin, nor by meditation. It is a physical pressure called: proprioceptive stimulation.

Weighted blankets are designed for this. They tell your nervous system, through weight, what words cannot: you know where your body is. You can stop searching.

"What a pleasure to be able to fiddle with the blanket, sliding my fingers into the holes! 30 minutes sitting in a chair, what a relief for an autistic person in burnout with a stiff neck."

Putting your fingers through the mesh? Not insignificant.

The Napoon weighted blanket offers the benefits of weight and secondary tactile stimulation. The mesh weave allows for what you instinctively do with other objects: fiddling, squeezing.

For ASD and ADHD profiles seeking active sensory regulation, this is a therapeutic feature, not a stylistic choice.

What families are saying from their first uses. Unfiltered testimonials.

The feeling of calm after the night is incredible. I have my friends who visit try it, and those who've tried it are won over.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is the weight really uniform?

Yes. The weight of Napoon comes entirely from the dense weaving of the cotton. No glass beads that move or concentrate. The distribution is structural, homogeneous, and predictable regardless of the position.

Can I use it for anxiety attacks?

Absolutely. Many ADHD and ASD clients use it during the day as well as at night, on the sofa, while working remotely, or during sensory overload. There are no contraindications to regular use outside of sleep.

Should I use it every night?

Most families use it every night. Some children also use it for homework, meltdowns during the day, or car rides. There are no contraindications to regular use.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash on a delicate 30° cycle with moderate spin. Lay flat to dry; never hang while wet. Before starting the cycle, ensure your machine can handle the weight. Napoon cotton does not shrink and retains its weight after washing.

When wet, the weight increases by 5%. If you have an adequate washing machine, that's perfect. Otherwise, it's best to wash it (like your traditional duvet) at a laundromat.
